Engie solutions has commissioned Geosolving for the pre-feasibility technical evaluation of the geothermal activation of the LN15O tunnel (Western Line n°15) of the Grand Paris Express project.
The definition of the exchangeable thermal power with the ground in winter and summer by geothermal activation of the tunnel was carried out according to the methodology developed by Di Donna and Barla (2016) and Insana and Barla (2020).
The obtained results has demonstrated the possibility of exploitating the LN15O tunnels for heating and cooling purposes.
