Geosolving srl was founded in 2016 as an engineering company that developed and enhanced the specialized engineering skills of Resolving srl, an innovative start-up and spin-off of the Politecnico di Torino active from 2013 to 2016. Our company deals with geological and engineering consultancy in the following fields:
- Landslides and infrastructures monitoring by means of ground-based radar interferometry;
- Numerical modeling for the solution of geotechnical problems (tunnels and underground works, excavation, landslides, and engineered slopes).
- Energy geostructures design.
The new corporate form makes it possible to expand the range of services offered, ranging from geological and geotechnical consultancies to geotechnical and structural monitoring, design, hydraulics, environmental protection, and geothermal energy.
The Geosolving team is made up of Santina Aiassa, CEO and Technical Director with a long experience in the design of civil and hydraulic works, Francesco Antolini, an engineering geologist with experience in investigations and monitoring and Marco Barla, Associate Professor at Politecnico di Torino and scientific consultant.
Davide Barla (agronomist), Matteo Baralis, Alessandra Insana, Lorenzo Ippolito, Miriam Piemontese, Filippo Vigna and Fabrizio Zacco (geotechnical engineers) have collaborated in the past or are still collaborating with Geosolving.
