3D numerical modelling

3D continuum (finite elements and finite differences) and discontinuum (discrete elements) numerical models can be used when dealing with complex geotechnical and geomechanical problems. Geosolving copes with modeling using RS3, FLAC3D and 3DEC software and can provide specialistic assistance to contractors and engineering firms. In particular 3D numerical modelling is adopted in the design phases of tunnels and underground facilities, for the stability analysis of slopes and rock faces and to determine the trajectories and the kinetic energy of rock blocks.
