She has strong administrative and technical expertise in public tenders participation. From 1999 to 2014, she was technical director of DESA srl and since 2015 she is an external consultant at LS engineering srls...
Francesco AntoliniAfter graduating with full marks in Geological Sciences at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, he held a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. From 2015 to 2017 he was a postdoctoral research fellow in the same university dealing with geological modeling, on-site investigations, laboratory tests, remote monitoring techniques and numerical modeling for slopes and excavations. He boasts a consolidated experience in the analysis and interpretation of radar interferometric data, in the use of FEM-DEM hybrid numerical methods as well as in the use of GIS systems for geological-environmental modeling. In 2013 he was a founding member of Resolving, a spin-off of the Politecnico di Torino. He is the author and reviewer of many papers in international journals.
Lorenzo MilanLorenzo graduated in Civil-Geotechnical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2020 and earned his PhD in Geotechnical engineering in 2024 with a dissertation on an innovative method for predicting brittle rock failure in deep excavations. As a research fellow, he addressed issues like rockbursts, rockfalls and complex formations, while collaborating with different engineering firms on various geotechnical projects. . .
Martina ScerboMartina graduated in Geological Sciences and Technologies at the University of Florence with full marks in 2023. She is involved in monitoring data analysis with a focus on the InSAR satellite interferometry technique, management of monitoring systems and EWS early warning.
Marco BarlaMarco is a Full Professor at the Politecnico di Torino where he teaches Numerical Methods in Geotechnical Engineering. He manages a research group dealing with the study of underground works, slope stability, monitoring system (with particular interest for ground-based radar interferometry) and energy geostructures. In the same fields, he has also more than twenty years of professional consulting experience. From 2013 to 2016 he was Technical Director of Resolving srl, a spin-off company of the Politecnico di Torino. He authored more than 130 scientific publications, he is currently Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Geomechanics and a member of the editorial board of Tunneling & Underground Space Technology journal. . .
Francesco CampanaFrancesco graduated in Civil Engineering (geotechnical specialization) at the Politecnico di Torino in 2023. He deals with the design of geotechnical structures, advanced numerical modelling and the analysis of soil-structure interaction in difficult situations (tunnel-landslide interaction, squeezing occurring during the excavation of tunnel in difficult conditions, evolution of the time-dependent behaviour of geomaterials). Since 2023 he is a PhD student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino where he is committed to deepening the knowledge in the viscoplastic behaviour (time-dependent) of geomaterials. . .
Simone De FeudisSimone graduated in Civil Engineering (geotechnical specialization) at the Politecnico di Torino in 2021. From then on, he engaged in different tasks related to energy geostructures, time-dependent behaviour of geomaterials (especially swelling phenomena) and existing tunnel management and refurbishment. Since 2022, he has been a PhD student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, exploring new ways to exploit the existing tunnel heritage for geothermal energy.
Alessandra InsanaAlessandra graduated in Civil Engineering (geotechnical specialization). In 2020 she obtained a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino where she is now a fixed-term researcher. Since 2017 she has been a teaching assistant for numerical methods in geotechnical engineering course. Alessandra expertise encompasses the energy geostructures, the deep geothermal reservoirs, the underground works as well as the swelling and the squeezing behaviour of rocks. She is currently involved in many projects dealing with energy geostructures and she is the author of many papers in international journals. . .
Juliana Lopez OchoaJuliana graduated with a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2024 and she is working on numerical modelling of tunnels and landslide slopes. Since 2024, she has been a PhD student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino with the aim of exploring the use of tunnels and underground works for geothermal energy.
